Terms of Membership

Effective May 18, 2026
By becoming a member of The Collective, you agree to the following terms. These terms protect the integrity of the archive and the rights of every member who has paid for access.

Membership grants personal access only.

Your membership allows you to read, reference, and reflect on the content inside The Collective for your own personal use. It does not grant you the right to share, redistribute, republish, copy, scrape, or otherwise reproduce any of the content found inside the archive, in whole or in part, in any form.

The following are explicitly prohibited.

Sharing your login credentials with anyone other than yourself. Copying, screenshotting, recording, or otherwise capturing archive content for distribution to non-members. Republishing any portion of the archive on any platform, including but not limited to social media, blogs, podcasts, newsletters, books, or printed material. Using any automated tool, script, bot, or program to extract, scrape, or download content from the platform. Using archive content to train, fine-tune, or otherwise inform any artificial intelligence model or system. Reproducing the frameworks, structural arguments, or analytical lenses developed inside the archive as your own original work, in any commercial or public context. Attempting to access any part of the platform, database, member data, or administrative function that is not authorized for your membership level, by any means including but not limited to exploiting technical vulnerabilities, bypassing authentication, or impersonating other users.

The content inside The Collective is the intellectual property of Marie Paquin.

Every piece, every framework, every structural argument, and every analytical lens developed inside the archive is original work, protected under applicable copyright and intellectual property law. Membership grants you a personal license to engage with this work. Membership does not transfer ownership of any part of it.

Membership activity is tracked.

Membership activity, including logins, pieces opened, time spent in the platform, scroll depth, and notes created, is tracked for the purpose of improving the platform and understanding member engagement. This activity data is visible only to Marie Paquin. The content of personal notes is not visible to anyone other than the member who wrote them.

Legal action will be taken against violations.

Any member found violating these terms will have their membership terminated immediately, without refund. Beyond termination, Marie Paquin reserves the full legal right to pursue civil action against any individual or entity that redistributes, republishes, scrapes, reproduces, or otherwise misuses the content inside The Collective. This includes recovery of damages, legal fees, and any other remedies available under applicable law. Violations will be pursued to the full extent of the law in the jurisdiction of the violator and in the jurisdiction of Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

By signing up, you agree to these terms.

If you do not agree, do not become a member. If you have already become a member and choose not to agree, you may cancel your subscription at any time. Continued use of The Collective after these terms have been published or updated constitutes agreement.
